Ahmed Rahim is a serial entrepreneur, artist, activist, and trusted advisor and coach to CEOs, Founders & Executives. Over the past 15 years, he has mentored and coached dozens of CEOs, drawing on his own experience leading and scaling organizations to help other leaders sharpen their vision, build strong teams, manage people through growth & change and help strengthen personal skills to be a better person.
Ahmed worked as a CEO for over 20 years, co-founding Numi Organic Tea & leading it to become the largest organic, fair trade tea brand in North America. He also helped guide Stasher's founder/CEO from early stage to a successful exit to SC Johnson in just three years — one of many examples of his hands-on approach to developing leadership and management capacity inside growing companies and within personal achievements.
Beyond Numi, Ahmed co-founded and advised a range of organizations, including One Step Closer (OSC), PLHYDE, and Ninth Meme, helping many entrepreneurs take their businesses from inception to success, while working with Executives to higher goals, inside and out. Through OSC, he brought together over 40 triple-bottom-line businesses/CEO’s to drive change in the natural food industry, and through OSC, stewarded cohorts like Climate Collaborative, Purpose Pledge and Packaging Collaborative — building coalitions of leaders committed to managing their organizations with purpose.
Using his 30 years of experience, Ahmed brings strong strategic thinking to his interactions. He has a track record in developing a personal approach that is thoughtful while focusing on what matters. This builds foundational systems to ones interactions and critical thinking, improving people and teams to yield healthy outcomes.
Ahmed lives in the redwoods of Northern California, where he created a retreat center that brings people together with nature and consciousness — a space where he continues to broaden his knowledge, live from the land and nurture the next generation of purpose-driven CEOs.
